Things To Do In Kuta

For some splashing enjoyment that is away from Kuta's waves, a hop from the shore and across the road from the Discovery Shopping Mall is Waterbom Bali, the greatest and long-running water park on the isle. Another great place like no other in all of Indonesia is the Bali Shell Museum. Some cultural highlights such as a Barong show village temples along with a significant Buddhist temple in the heart of Kuta are worth a visit. And back on the coast beside the lifeguard tower is the sea turtle conservation site where the whole family and you can learn about the exciting community efforts in protecting the endangered species.

Here is a list of a few of the things.

Visit Kuta Beach

Renowned worldwide for its white and long sandy stretch of sand, Kuta beach is the location that set Bali on the map, and an absolute must see during your stay in the region. Here, locals and tourists alike come take evening strolls together to browse and share a cold beer, making for a relaxed and fun-loving feeling. We recommend settling in for sundown views around 6pm and bringing a beach towel. If it is retail therapy you are searching for, stroll over to Beachwalk Shopping Center just through the road to indulge in its broad range of restaurants and stores.

Snorkel Bali's Sister Isles

With easy pick up from Kuta, this popular snorkel trip to Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Penida's crystal clear waters will enable you to see a mind boggling assortment of coral and colorful fish. Our Reef Club Day Cruise is also a terrific method to amuse the entire family with excellent snorkeling, unlimited banana boat rides, accessibility to an underwater viewing chamber and a village tour to Nusa Lembongan. In the mood for love? This lavish catamaran day trip manages guests access to a private beach club in Nusa Lembongan and sunset cocktails to boot.

Kuta Beach on Horseback

The wide beaches and soft sand make the shoreline of the Kuta area that is greater the best backdrop for a sunset horseback ride. On this superb ride along Bali's picturesque west coast, you will get before heading to the sand for that picture perfect view of the ocean to traverse through scenic rice paddy fields and local villages. The guides top off your trip with visit to the iconic Tanah Lot temple at sunset, if you choose the entire day trip on horseback and ATV.

Surf Lessons

Bali has long-held a reputation for its surf culture that is vibrant, so should you have a free morning, make sure to hang ten with some local surfers. Kuta beach is by far typically the most popular place for novices, but as it can get crowded, let our favorite instructors take you just further north to a quieter stretch of sand for this excellent beginner’s class. After a few hours with them, you will be conquering those waves right away!

Visit Waterbom – Asia’s Number 1 Water Park

Who knew that besides its astonishing cultural prizes, Bali plays home to one of the top water parks in Asia? We will not show too much, but merely understand that Waterbom is chock-a-block full of exhilarating water slides and rides that will really get your centers racing (If you are traveling with younger children, rest assured there are plenty of kid safe alternatives for them as well). Found in the center of Kuta at Jalan Kartika Plaza, it is just a hop, skip and a leap further away from your hotel, leaving you zero reasons not to pay it a visit! For discounted tickets to skip the line, check out this choice here.

Party All Night Long

Bash all night long in the upscale beach clubs and underground cabarets of Seminyak or head to Kuta that is central to paint the town red (albeit with a younger bunch) at Skygarden, a huge cabaret which boasts 8 pubs and clubs in a single venue. Not sure which top DJ is in town or what events are on while you are here? This insider nightlife tour to the top nightclubs and bars in Bali will make sure you get you in on the activity.

Explore The Island

Yes, being in Kuta means that you are at the epicentre of Bali's tourism trade, but that does not mean you are limited to remaining there! Book a learned guide for a sunset tour of the south or travel north to visit with World Heritage sights like Ubud and Tanah Lot while you’re at it. You’ll get some fabulous photographs, dive deeper into Balinese culture and get dropped back in Kuta just in time for some dinner and late night bargain hunting.
